Dean Delgiusto

is a classical accordionist based in Copenhagen, Denmark. His true passion for classical music and his wide knowledge of it makes him a unique performer! Dean is particularly interested in reaching out to the audience. On stage his intention is to inspire people with deep understanding of music and devotion to art that he possesses.

Dean received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in classical accordion from the Royal Danish Academy of Music. His teachers have included James Crabb, Andreas Borregaard and Geir Draugsvoll.

His early music coaches have been Franc Plahuta, Claudio Furlan, Ernö Sebastian.

In his musical career Dean received many awards at regional, national and international competitions, both as a soloist and in various chamber groups and orchestras.

The wide range of developed repertoire allows Dean to build innovative and intriguing concert programs. His repertoire varies from Baroque music of Scarlatti, Bach, and Handel to avant-garde works of contemporary composers. Dean is very active in collaborating with composers and many new works were written specially for him.

Dean’s freedom as a performer comes from playing regularly with different musicians, groups and orchestras. Having broad range of experience in chamber music, he has been creating and performing musical programs with various ensembles. With his colleagues he shares enthusiasm for bringing classical music to a wider audience.
